balloon rocket

We made a balloon rocket.

What happens is that we blow up the balloon then tape it to the straw then get some (smooth) string, put the straw on the string then tape the balloon on to the straw , blow the balloon up then let the balloon go (P.S. hold the string hard.

how would a balloon go faster when it is smaller, that would mean there would be more aerodynamic in on the balloon so therefore it would go faster but it would also go less of a distance than a balloon with more air.

Newton's laws of motion say that if a object is still it does not want to move out of its place, but when you apply force to it to whatever object you are using it will move but it wont want to stop because it would be too lazy to stop, but it will stop due to the air, gravity and wind.

making homemade lava lamps

I found it easy to put the tablets in the homemade lava lamp because you can just drop the tablets in the class.

I found it cool because it looked like a real lava lamp that you can buy from a shop and when you shine a light on the lava lamp it looks like its glowing and the tablets would let out C02 and at some point the rest of the tablet would float up to the oil.

put water in a cup

get oil

pore oil in cup

get a tablet

and drop the tablet in the the cup

get a torch and shine it at the cup

Making bath bombs

I found it easy to get all the ingredients in the bowl and start mixing because it would be easy to start mixing and getting it a bit less powdered.

I found it hard to get the bath bomb to feel a bit sticky and to feel like kinetic sand because it would take a long time to get the bath bomb to feel like that.

Next time I will try and get the colour a bit more colourful because when I made my bath bomb it looked a bit bland, I need to add a bit less colours to my bath bomb and make it more colourful.

to make a bath bomb you will need to get (dry) 1 cup baking soda

½ cup of citric acid

1/2 cup of epsom salt

1/2 cup of epsom salt

1 tsp of essential oil

3 tsp of olive oil / coconut oil / Almond oil

2-3 drops of food coloring

Measure out and whisk together your dry ingredients in a large bowl. Next, in a small cup, mix together the wet ingredients. This is also where you’ll add the essential oils.

The next step is very important. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. You’ll want to do this very slowly, adding little drops at a time while mixing.

The citric acid is what causes the bath bombs to fizz when it comes into contact with water. Adding the wet ingredients slowly minimizes this effect. Then, firmly press the mixture into the mould.

Let the bath bombs dry for at least 24 hours.
